Widdowmaker started with sim racing. Racing online, chasing lap times, competing with friends and building a community around the thing we all enjoy — driving cars far faster than most of us would ever dare to in the real world.

The YouTube channel became the home of Widdowmaker Racing: races, live streams, Gran Turismo 7, challenges, tutorials, testing and the inevitable tinkering with the sim rig.

Built from racing

From the rig to the workshop

The Widdowmaker products didn't start in a boardroom. They started in the sim rig.

Long races get hot. Really hot.

So the first question was simple: Could I build something that actually kept me cool while racing?

That led to experimenting with fans, airflow, mounting systems and 3D printing — eventually producing the Widdowmaker Cooling System.

What started as something built for my own rig became something other racers wanted too. Today we're developing cooling systems for multiple wheelbases, experimenting with SimHub-controlled airflow and designing new hardware specifically for sim racers.

You'll still find racing, live streams, time trials, challenges, tutorials and plenty of questionable decisions made at racing speed.

Because without the racing, none of the rest of this exists.
